We have been also enjoying the inside...
feeding Oakley a 'baby' bottle

I tried to straighten Norah's hair for as long as she would sit still...

Then Norah's baby needed a diaper change

Now her baby is swaddled and happy

happy Oakley
So Fall is here in Maine and we've been enjoying the outdoors.  The trees have been beautiful and the air cool and crisp.

Welcome to the Grotton Family blog!  We have had an exciting 2010 with moving into our new house, both of us finishing our masters, and the birth of our second child Oakley.  We are finally feeling settled and it's great!  Oakley just turned 2 months old and we are loving every moment of having him in our family (except the lack of sleep) . I know this special time I have with him at night will soon be over so even though I'm exhausted I'm treasuring every moment...Norah is a great big sister.  As soon as she enters the room, Oakley smiles at the sound of her voice.  It's precious to see how she cares for him too.  He's known as her baby and she rubs his face and gets us anything he needs.  I'll try my best to keep this blog updated, be patient with us while we are in survival mode...haha.
